La région des (soi-disant!) "sept lacs"
Région montagneuse qui culmine à 2900 mètres d'altitude, station de ski à une heure de route de Sofia, le domaine des « sept lacs » offre de splendides paysages. Pour y parvenir, il faut s’y rendre à pied ou emprunter un télésiège, assez onéreux, sauf que la montée ne dure pas moins de vingt minutes et qu’il faut ensuite marcher une demie journée pour voir l’ensemble des lacs se trouvant en haut de la montagne. Bansko
This morning went for a hike in the Pirin mountains. Took a chairlift up to a hut situated at about 2200m, and then hiked about an hour and a half to a pretty lake. The scenery was beautiful, when I could stop looking at my feet long enough to appreciate it :) Didn't particularly want to trip on a rock and fall off a mountain :) Got back into town about 2pm, just enough time to get another load of laundry ...
