      Changi airport was uneventful. We bought a few bits and found an Italian themed restaurant for lasagne and a pasta sizzler, a rather tasty concoction of roast vegetables, spaghetti and tomato sauce.       ... the bike & walk home, I decided to try my luck and see if the store had a pair of bolt cutters I could borrow. four Tesco employees, a few security guards and one nice maintenance guy later I was on my way. no cutters had been found but the latter knew enough about locks to figure out how to get it to open. the whole time all I could think of is, how do they know they're not helping me steal this bike?

      So I saw an IKEA chest of drawers on the Freely Wheely site and thought that looks solid with plenty of storage I measured the back of my fiesta carefully and calculated it would fit (just), so I requested it and went to pick it up from a lovely couple in Dorking.
