Much better sleep last night in the new room with a non squeaky bed! We ate breakfast in the garden instead of our patio this morning which was nice and in the shade. We packed up and were picked up at 10:30 and taken to the beach to board our speed boat back to Bali. It only took 20 minutes!! It was a smooth morning and our captain had the engines at full throttle. Tash also had to take an immodium to make sure she would ...

The food was ok but nothing special so we finished up quickly and headed back to ...

I brought some of his ashes here with the intention of floating them down one of the many sacred rivers of Bali - being as how they are connected to a 'special' route to the Ganges - where - of course - we all want to end up.
I carried out this ceremony on Monday.
It was done with multitudinous tears and several chuckles as I pictured someone on the bridge high above ...

... gave me a body scrub. Sounded nice on paper, but then I quickly realized I became the paper...sand paper. I've never wanted to squeal more in my life than in that moment. The trouble was I had terrible brush burn from surfing just a few hours before. Clearly she had no idea and I had no way of telling her. For the first time I came to know what it felt like to be tortured for 1.5 hours..
To make matters worse I awoke to a friend in my room later that evening. I was tired from ...
