... a fair few coffee shops, but most of them are of the take out variety rather than the sit-in kind you get in Amsterdam. I was also in too apathetic mood to put in the effort to get into an even more apathetic state. More than anything I need sleep.

I also passed a few chickens on the road. It must've gotten lost on the way to KFC.


PS - There are a couple of older Scottish guys in my dorm. I can literally only understand every fifth word or ...

The boat ride was cool. They pointed out the hooks under the gables on most of the houses. Because the doorways and stairwells are so narrow, when Dutchies move house they can't get their furniture in the door, so they hoist it up the outside of the building and through the window. It's really frustrating me and I hope their support team gets back to me soon! For dinner we went to this teeny tiny little pizza place we had seen on a canal. On Friday I made an early start and headed to the Krijnen's home town of Breda, an hour and a half by train to the east of The Hague.
