The show was at 10pm every night so days were free for hanging out on the beach or cruising around Benidorm. ... what we thought of the meal and not leaving a tip, we were a bit down trodden. Then we found a curious gentleman who gave us some costume pieces and took a 1920s style photograph with his old school camera.
Feeling brighter we went on to the pub where Emily had a good time on her birthday, we spent a good last night in Alicante and Barcelona won! Safe to say we ended the night in high spirits.

The next stop on our Spanish tour was the coastal city of Alicante, a small city on the Mediterranean Sea. Another sunny day, how lucky have we been! We set off to walk the short distance into town and head right along the sea front to the elevator which takes you up to Santa Barbara Castle set high on a cliff above the town.
