... we could have persuaded our friend Richard to come in, had he been with us, (we are still not sure) the food looked very tasty and smelled even better. This place is right off the main road, down a wee side street, blink and you would miss it but we are glad we didn’t miss it, the food was wonderful. ... a telephone call to the basic English speaking manager later we managed to check in and order a taxi for 3am. The rest of the day was spent watching TV and sleeping (knowing very well that we would need to be up at 2am so any sleep now would be appreciated tomorrow). We slept from 3pm - 5pm and due to the travelling early morning we also managed a broken sleep from 10pm - 2am before leaving the room and waiting for our taxi. ...

... coriander seeds, lemongrass, black pepper and garlic, and traditionally spit-roasted. It's also available at a range of warungs where locals gather for a quick lunch. The best thing about the stop was getting off the bike. By this time we had been on the road for four and a half hours and I was getting pretty sore. We had 3 dishes with rice, for less than 1. The pig was lovely, however the soup and other dishes were quite hot, so Stu mainly ate mine. After arriving back at Poppies2 ...
