We leave Mt Bromo on Java around midday for a nine hour minibus journey, the continuation of the previous day's 14 hour trip. Having arisen at 3.30am, after four hours sleep, and trudged around the volcano for several hours, we are totally knackered once the minibus gets going along the north Java ...

It wasn't long till we found the beach, a seat with beautiful view & an ice cold Bintang Beer for 28'000 RP ($2.80AUD), this was nice as it kind of felt like we were staying at the resort we were sitting in!

Had our first 'non backpacker' meal at $10 each!!!! (Outrageous) & Bintangs at $3, We had better learn how to be backpacker "tight" very soon if we are going to ...

Daar we in Amed veel hinder hebben ondervonden van het feit dat trappen op de plaats waar we overnachten niet handig zijn voor ons pap, hebben we na overleg besloten terug naar Ubud te gaan en niet het risico te lopen dat we in Sanur niets kunnen vinden.
We voelen ons er alledrie goed thuis, dus het besluit was best simpel.
