... We had japanese with Ricky and Ervina to congratulate them on their upcoming nuptials, we farewelled the Great Wall with La La and crew, we wined and dined with the Preston Manor crew (mrs and bubbas too) at Blue Zenzer and enjoyed a nice dinner at Duke of Wellington in Notting Hill with mum, dad, Preena and Scotti.

We will miss our family and friends in London but look forward to the next stop on the trip - Hola Guatemala!

Kayes is supposedly the hottest place in Mali – we did not intend on staying long. The only bus leaving for Bamako that day though had already left. Hmm. But after a fair amount of sweet talking, we soon found ourselves being rushed by car to a bus that was waiting for us outside of town. We climbed inside and seated ourselves on the only spare seats available, apparently reserved for us right at the back of the vehicle.
