... for me as we travel non-stop) with a little tennis thrown in, and perhaps another crack at Spanish lessons. Given the Mexico stories we got from our friends, we might be the last Canadians to have rushed to this country in order to escape another season of cold Arctic air. So why did no one warn us that we might be the proverbial square peg in a round hole when visiting Playa del Carmen??

Not knowing what we were in for, we locked ourselves in for 3 months- we weren't sure ...

... with 299,998 other people. We turned up at 5pm with 12 cans of beer and by the time it finished, 5 hours later, we had drunk those cans and some more and had seen at least 2000 tits, along with a couple of pecs. It were amazing. We shall leave the pictures to talk for themselves.
Unfortunately, there's nothing else to do in Veracruz. The beaches are rubbish and that's it. Mardi Gras was cancelled because of the high winds. That's ...

... out I met up with some of the other group members, said goodbye again, and thanked Milton one more time. I stored my stuff at reception and went to kill my last few hours in Playa del Carmen.

... strawberry cheesecake. Bryce and I looked at each other a little worried due to our last run in with strawberry cheesecake but this looked much better. I took the first bite and it was insanely good. Better then cheesecake should taste. yuum. We both ate them all up. After finishing our wine we tipped Mario and Raul and left the restaurant. We walked along the beach and noticed couples set up with a dinner on the beach. We walked back to our room and went to sleep.

... English girl also volunteering in the hostel) who showed me around the hostel and what work is expected. This was not an ordinary hostel, I believe the best way to describe it is that it's an open house party but if you want to sleep over you pay a little. I worked for food and accommodation by doing cleaning in the morning and then showing guests how to get drunk fast.
