        ... hope the photos do it justice. After an enormous day in the car we camped just outside Fray Jorge.

        The next day we continued south to Santiago, it was a much clearer day than on the way up so we got great views of the coastline and the vast wind farms. We arrived safely back into Santiago in the afternoon, it felt like coming home. We both really love the city of Santiago.

        As we headed back to the hostel we noticed the Lighthouse Cafe which served espresso coffee, a bit of a rarity in a country that is obsessed with weak, overly sweetened, Nescafe.
