However we were promised a late lunch at Teresa ‘s in Kensal Rise and said our goodbyes to Chislehurst till next time. The A20 seemed the only realistic way into London from Kent but we forget how congested London can be and it did take about 2 hrs for the 17 miles. Hidden away in one particular courtyard were a bunch of stalls, the biriyani and chicken dosai dishes we shared were really amazing. The rest of Little India was quite spread out, so lacked the same charm we found in Georgetown, but the food made up for it massively. The next area to explore was a collection of heritage streets, including the central Sultan mosque, Arab street lined ...

... old airport. It appeared to also be an Aussie expat area as the iconc sense of humour was on display on the signs promoting the bars and restaurants.

Tonight we will board our plane for Brisbane and will be on our way back to our own abode. It has been heaps of fun and I wish we could just keep on travelling but I guess we have to go back to base sometime. No doubt when we get there, home will seem like a more comfortable and welcoming place than it did when we left.
