... to take in the cool summer night temperature, people watch, and enjoy a beverage :) it's hard to believe we only have a couple more days of extreme heat and perfect temperature nights. The only thing that would make the evening perfect is a cool breeze; too bad the window in our room doesn't open and in fact there is no breeze here! The air is always stale and stable. ... Tourist Pass for our travels - SGD $30 for three days of unlimited travel on MRT trains and buses - and SGD$10 of that is refunded on departure (within 5 days of activation). Good deal. MRT Orchard Road to City Hall, one way is SGD$1.40 - so the card is a great way to go.

I checked back at the hotel at 1pm to see how Pete was going and he had improved somewhat - so we met the ladies who were doing retail browsing in Orchard Road. The day has not ...
