... the overall level of danger.

Overall though, it was a really positive iniial introcution to Mexico, even if I had largely stayed in the main touristy districts. The next place on my trip was a smaller beach town called Ensenada, around 3 hours south. Partially shook off the Tequila hangover, apologised for my ahem illness the night before, escaped from the the worlds most evil cat, and then jumped on the first rickety bus ready for the next adventure!

... to some roller coaster action. The Manta is the fastest roller coaster in the park. It was pretty quick. Next up was Shamu Pavilion, home to the killer whales. They put on an exciting show. ... we continued driving south and once we were at the border of USA and Mexico I called my aunt that i was near Tijuana and if me and Chong can stay over for the week and won't have to pay and stay at a hotel, and she agreed and said of corse. ... of scurvy. (History lesson for the day). There's no doubt that its a tourist destination, since its an area mainly comprised of shops and restaurants in a park-like setting along the waterfront. The shops are all independent retailers selling a variety of goods that aren't usually found elsewhere, and there are no chain restaurants on-site, all of which combine to give the area its own flavour.
