    ... was born. While there is now a road in, at the time fighters used the creek to get to the camp. We are able to see the building the former leader used. Lots of current soldiers were also visiting the site.

    We then went to Rimsungsu waterfalls. The is my favourite place in DPRK so far. There is a river coming out of the side of the mountain and fanning into waterfall. The waterfall has a pagoda built above it. All around the trees are in the various colours ...

    ... that I would want to get back on a cat track so badly before. I found a few nice turns but the hike out at the bottom was far from worth it.

    I think that there is a lot of potential there. The snow was deep. And it from the pictures I have seen, and the reports that I have read, it looks like there is some very nice steep. It was unfortunate that I didn't get a taste. But such is life. So off with the skis and on with the snowshoes.

    ... of luxury. There are gear shops, that have decent gear, albeit at 200% normal already 200% marked up ski resort prices. There are hot springs. There are restaurants. There are bars. There are massage and spa places. The variety is the only thing holding it back, but it's a small mountain, so very understandable.
