First Chinese Christmas Celebrations
... it was off to Firefly where they had a HUGE Christmas night - tree, stockings over the fireplace, carols, etc. etc. All the Chinese people wished us a Merry Christmas and once again much photo taking. Ho Ho Hum...Xmas is near and all that c**p
The students have been on to me since 1 December about Christmas - so many questions - how will I celebrate, what about a tree and decorations, what about my family, will I go home (!!) etc etc. It's hard to beleive but they really have no concept of distance and find it impossible to imagine that I can't go home for Christmas given I get 1 day off!!!
