So this past week was pretty average.. I worked on my lab report every day and somehow basically got nothing done everyday.... but today it was due and I think I produced a decent product. From now on though, I definitely have to focus more and get things done sooner. Next Monday I have two lab reports and an essay due. Needless to say, I will not be doing much this week/weekend besides work work work. After next Monday though, I don't have much due until May so I just gotta buckle ...

So - to start. Glasgow - somewhere I'd been very fleetingly before. Izzy and I travelled up to visit our team in the Glasgow office. It again, was destined to be a fleeting visit and after having a quick meeting with our lovely Scottish team (incidentally, none of whom are actually Scottish) ...

I am again very sorry for not giving you an update last week.
I have had two lovely weeks since the day I wrote my last blog post! They have been challenging but fun!
The day after I wrote my last blog post was the day my two Dutchies arrived: my mum and one of my best friends came over to see what my life is like here in Scotland!
For me, going to the airport ...
... in India and brought to Scotland by the immigrants. Two story homes are referred to as 'villas'. Many of the homes are built with beautiful pink sandstone which is locally mined in Scotland. We passed several beautiful golf courses including Turnberry, which overlooked the sea.

Nothing makes me miss the States more than air conditioning on a hot day and more than 6 hours of darkness. I was woken up by a bunch of seagulls outside my windows at 4 this morning. Which would be fine if I could have gone back to sleep. But that seemes to be impossible because they would jot stop all day.
