... of the ships being unloaded (I recognised a few logos from tankers in the Solent...) before heading into the port museum which had miniatures of some of the equipment used and where we were shown a commercial video for the port - it was all in Chinese and the port workers were either ants or bees, we weren't entirely sure. On the way back to campus we got the driver to drop us off at Wanda Plaza, where we went to a shop called Miniso, a Japanese equivalent of Poundland, and which ...

We should have had our first lectures on Monday morning but instead we met some other people outside the uni to go to the Ningbo International Travel Health Centre for our medical checks. ... for so long. We kept trying to make it there, but for some reason never got there when the weather was still good. Luckily, though, the day we went had pretty great weather for the end of January.
I'll let the pictures tell the story here, as I don't have much else to ...

Today was a somewhat rainy Saturday so we decided to make the most of it and head to this local tourist attraction called Yandang Mountain. We didn't really have much to go on apart from a single picture of what the main mountain looked like, but we went anyway. As it turns out, it is actually a very beautiful area. We didn't even have enough time to check the entire thing out so we will have to go back again some time. Here are some ...
