... I will provide pictures later) But there is a beautiful view of Barcelona from the back balcony which somehow makes up for the inside.
We decided to go find something to eat so back out into the streets we went with Maria whom we finally gave up on and just kept driving up and down streets with the scooters until we saw this incredible building. la Sagrada Família EXPIATORY CHURCH

Views of the Sea, Sails and a Cemetery

Now when we first checked in we were advised that we had a corner room with ocean views, the one thing they did neglect to tell us was that the hotel backed onto one of the biggest cemeteries in Barcelona; so big that its a stop on the tourist buses. However for a cemetery it was very well maintained with a large garden entrance and wasnt spooky at all, almost comforting...

We were tired but continued on, up early from jetlag and headed out into the city skipping ...

... s (his words) hospitality was something I will remember from this trip. As we left in the morning, photos were taken, and we left the only english entry in their guest book. Only paid 65 euros for room and breaky and an experience we will treasure. On our way to Barcelona we made a stop at the Pont de Gard, old roman aqueduct. Boy they really new how to build stuff back in the old days. Then to Narbonne for lunch. We visited an unfinished church because it was ...

... and the waiters generously offered us some farewell shots of Absinthe. I'm assuming the Spanish enjoy this liquor because I heard a lot of mention about it, so it was only appropriate that we had our 'adios' toast to Barcelona! I'm a little upset l don't know what the name of it was, I just know how to get there. Even more reason to go back! We woke up early the next morning and shipped off to the airport. She left to return to Paris and I was off on my second leg of the journey: London!

... and Katie ran onto the bus, to the back, grabbed her bag, and sprinted back off to hop in our cab. Then after our long journey it was finally time to head home. We are extremely lucky that this turned into a funny story, because it could have ended muchhh worse. It was quite the adventure and we have José to thank for saving the day. That said, I’m sure none of us will be forgetting any bags anytime soon. It was an excellenttt excellent weekend!
