Yesterday left Positano. We took a shuttle to Salerno then picked up a car from Avis. The coast road from Positano to Salerno was truly breathtaking and the driver quite friendly and tried to explain a few sights along the way. Headed south and stopped at some Greek ruins in Paestrum which dated back to BC. Weather a little cold and rainy or we probably would have stayed longer. Took the scenic root to Marina di Camerota. Stopped at Bascillicata and had a late lunch at a little pizzeria. ...

Followed by the usual greek coffee and Grand Marnier...... another perfect day toasted and celebrated on the Milena, before saying good-night. Bon Nuit..... ... how much farming they did. (The restaurant also seemed to be closed. Perhaps they just open late.) Since we had another full-day drive ahead, we decided to ventured into town to shop for some dinner. We made our way around the closed streets and found a lovely little grocery store where we bought some bread and cheese to go with our Sicilian wine. Tomorrow we head to the Gargano Peninsula and the Adriatic ...

We headed off at about 9am and drove down the main road south for an hour to the town of Palinuro. Here we waited for a boat to take us out to the caves that this area is renown for. Finally after some delays we headed out at 12:30. We went to three different caves and then ended up at a beach for a swim.

On the way back we tried to get into the blue grotto cave which is the most famous however the sea was too rough and so ...
