    ... on the way back.
    We also drove up to Maratea to the large statue of Jesus the Redeemer, 2nd largest in the world.
    its about a 30 min drive from Praia and it's a winding road all the way up up up up.
    Once you get all the way up you catch a bus to the statue as the road juts out over the cliffs. It's a scary ride so high up.
    Francesca had told Silvana how good the gelatos were at The Scoglio at Guardia Marina so on ...

    ... lunch at a cafe on the beach and trying to regain our energy to find our hotel, it was wonderful....took us straight there without an extra step. So thanks!     Tough day today. This afternoon, 2 hours were spent in the spa resort attached to the hotel which was inclusive in our accommodation as was the free cocktail drink Vicki and I had last night but best not to go there!     ... we were resting in a lovely spot to suddenly see them appear again....boy can we move!! Great cafe stop at Galdo ..and had a bit of a rest after 2 hours and then off we choofed. The scenery was superb and the medieval villages especially Celso and Cannicchio, we walked through were so pretty and a few looked like picture postcards with money being spent to renovate the old buildings.     ... to chose from, all home made jams etc. pleased we are staying two nights! Leaving the beautiful village of Rocca Cilento for a circular walk up and down some mountains in a walk specified to take 4 hours. Smarty pants that we are....no probs after the easy day yesterday and wondered how would we fill the day in after arriving back here at midday. Maybe another walk? Things did not go quite as planned!!! Ta da 7 hours ...
