Another, this time slightly faster train through Italy from the dirty and dangerous Napoli to Sicily. I'm listening to music and reading Italian short stories whilst watching the beautiful scenery shoot by. The mountains are so foreign to an Australian, and I take delight that we would be one of the few countries where mountains like these are not a common occurrence, such is the weathered age of our beautiful continent. The sea as well on this Italian Coast is so flat, and ...

... area that we had first imagined!

As we navigated our way through switchbacks, tunnels and breathtaking views of the Tyrennean Sea, we were taken by the natural beauty of the surrounding hills. Along the way, every 10 kms or so, we would spot a hillside village perched on the top of a high hill and wonder what it might be like. Another interesting observation was the fact that as we drove further south towards Naples the ...

... and made our way to the vegetable market. OMG. What a truly beautiful, inside, clean, air conditioned store this was. The quality of all they had was perfect, so I stocked up with the rest of the supplies I needed, and we returned to Milena in just a little over an hour. This was good, because the temperature was rising, and it was getting quite hot. Being in this protected harbor, behind a HUGE beaker for the sea... There is literally no air ...

... in the beautiful, airless, morning sun. Starting each morning, sitting at the table enjoying my cappuccino on Milena, is the best way to start any day. It wasn't long before we were entering the harbor at Acciaroli. We quickly tied up the boat, grabbed the food trolley, and were off to the street market. The last time I was at this street market was with Denise and we found all kinds of neat things. Row after row, and column after column, we happily ...
