    ... br> According to our information, Koln was approx 95% destroyed diluting WWII. So most of the city has been built or rebuilt since 1945. However, it seems the church was not among the casualties.

    Then we jumped on a boat for a river cruise along the Rhine. It was only about 45 minutes and it brought us up river to another part of Koln. During the little cruise we had some kaffee and kuchen.

    After a splendid day of cycling through natural beauty and countryside along the Rhine and then thrown back to 13th century with gothic architecture and astonishing grandeur I was exhausted but well pleased with my day.
