    ... seat in the buffet at breakfast time reserved with a towel ! Wednesday :- Definirtely cooler although at 70 we should not feel cold but Mum has her cardigan on. Can see lots of people walking the promenade through the lounge window bit blowy though.Talk about Christie & the Rimington Place murders this morning. Quite interesting.     ... islands colours. After the photos we were treated like royalty; maybe a future tip to anyone travelling, pop out the countries flag and the locals will be proper impressed! By the way, if you haven’t seen the Azorian flag, check it out, proper nice.

    ... We've been told about Ponta da Ferreria a place to swim at the ocean's edge where a hot spring spews forth directly into the ocean and creates a warm swimming hole. However with the wind and waves of the last couple days and the cool temperatures we decide an ocean swim is not likely for us today.     ... We arrived, only to find out it is closed on weekends. We will return Monday afternoon after our whale watching adventure!

    It was a great day by just simply walking the city sidewalks and taking in Ponta Delgada. We completed the day by having a light supper along the promenade, overlooking the Marina.

    Tomorrow, we are off on a Jeep tour to view Sete Cidades and Lagoa Fugo. More ...
