    ... along the coast to the far part of the island to look out over the lighthouse to give a great view out to sea. The next stop is another garden with beautiful flowers but the view from here along the coast is stunning and reminds me of pictures of Hawaii with sheer forest clad cliffs tumbling into the rocky blue sea.     ... on a full day tour to the volcanically active region of Furnas plus a half day trip to see the blue and green lakes at Sete Cidades. We spent the rest of the day arguing about things and reading and sitting by the swimming pool.
