... well planned city, all the buses leave from different bus stations and locations so you have to get rip off taxis to take you from one bus station to another which are teeming mass of humanity. The bus stations are normally located at Mercados (markets) which is an excellent idea as one can stock up on food for the journey; that is if one didn&#8217;t have the extra 20lbs of Brad and mini-Brad to contend with. Thursday morning we came to Ometepe island, to Moyogalpa. We took a bus there and went to Playa Venecia. We slept in a hostel there, of course the cheapest one.
