Day Trip to Playa Del Coco
... The beach was a bit more man made but still amazing regardless. Elly ran down the beach while Moe and I laid down while listening to the waves break & the local kids play. The sunsets are just as mesmerizing as Tamarindo! We decided to stay and have dinner in town at a place called Beach Bums... Had some more nachos and calamari + shrimp... Yum! I'm now addicted to avocado! We drove the dark roads back to home,.. Along the way we saw a local soccer game going on ...
The Great Adventure:
... Let's get away from the snow and teach some beautiful coffee-skinned tropical kids who have a school through the 6th grade, for 3 hrs a day (maybe) for 84 days a years (maybe). They have about an hour week of English instruction (maybe) by a native instructor who doesn’t speak English. Yet the major industry here is tourism, and family farming (cattle).

Cruisin' thru Costa Rica
... could camp. The Casa Antigua Hotel & Restaurante is close to the Pan Americana and the airport and is run by an ex-pat Aussie, Debbie. We moved in and set up camp. Established with a Persian theme it is a somewhat quirky place but very comfortable with excellent Persian meals. That evening we met up with Stanley, our map expert who had sourced all our Garmin compatible maps for South and Central America.

Day 4 - Big waves

Getting up at crack of dawn truly makes the day longer and mess with the day, I went out and took some videos of people surfing the bigger waves, we got a huge swell coming the next few days. Le Sigh... My Last Day
... was making his way to the playa (beach). I wished him well and went about getting a few things tidied up. Afterwards, I made my way to my fave spot on the beach, where I bumped into Howard again. He recognised me at first and waved. It wasn't until I saw his surfboard that I realised it was him.
