    ... for another hour.

We stayed at a B&B we found on airbnb. It was a lovely big room on the top floor with our own huge terrace and great views. The hosts Rui and Filomena and their 14 day old son were lovely hosts. ... le de Culatra est un grand banc de sable de 5.9 kms de long. After three days in our anchorage, we have decided to move further and put Kivu on the sand. We found a nice spot at a bar right on the waterfront & it was great just to sit & have a couple of drinks looking over the beach! We all felt better for having a relaxing day. We caught the 4pm ...

... was started in 1501. Just stepping into the courtyard or looking inside the church there it's not hard to imagine why it took so long either. The detail carved into the stone it is built from is not only stunning but amazing to think about the time & skill but into it . In the church here there are massive stone columns with engravings, about 2.5m wide & 40m high, then every 5m up you could faintly see ...

    HIspaniola, Cuba, And Isabella

A travel blog entry by karenrivera on Sep 29, 2014

Today Nov.22 me and my men have arrived to Hispaniola. I have just discovered that sadly my men fought with the natives and died.

I have decided to make a settlement in Isabella, where in the past I found gold. The place was poor and there was no more gold so I decided to leave the island and go ...
