    Praia da Falesia and Faro

We made it to Faro, our last stop on the southern shore of Algarve. Trying to avoid the concrete nightmare and crowds of Albufeira beaches, we drove slightly to the east to reach a 3km stretch of white sand called Praia da Falesia. Still pretty busy, but as people were spread out it wasn't so bad, and the water was the warmest so far (maybe ...

So the trip photos will be less from here on in. They may possibly only consist of indoor ...

On the way we stopped for a coffee. We asked for a large size and the nice lady bought us her biggest coffees. The cup was a shot glass with a handle. At least the coffee was real. Thanking the lady, we paid and left, secretly missing the bowls of coffee from France. The boat ride ...

Wow! Monday already! Where has the time gone? Probably in bottles of wine and Sagres.....Speaking of which, we did a little local shopping the other day, in Intermarche, a kind of upmarket Tesco. In their extensive Portuguese wine section, we found a 2.5 litre bottle of red at.......3 Euros! And....a very passable drink it is too!
On Saturday we went to the harbourside, which houses the weekly market. Apart from all the Pikeys selling identical clothing at ...
