Farewell to Benicassim

It is not the bustling frenzy of some modern resorts, the pace is slower which is what we like, no seedy nightclubs and drunken youths in your face like the early days of ' the Spanish resort'!!!

... the doors to open to receive a number that allowed us to stand or sit in another area waiting for that number to give us access to the official who would either give us forms or look at the forms we had already filled in before they gave us another form which needs to be taken to a bank for payment of a fee and returned with a photo and copies of our passport before noon....so that we can then return the next day at 1 pm ...
Christmas time is here!
Today was a great day. It started out as normal, me doing school work. Then I went into town and met with a couple friends. Olivia lives in an apartment and she bought Christmas decorations! It was so fun and we had a great time. On my way to class I walked past the mercado, which was all light up! It is so beautiful! ...
Happy Birthday to Marie
... around the wonderful family table to enjoy our lunch...a hungry crowd for sure, every last drop consumed. Then is was siesta time for some of us. We returned to El Campello with the plan to see everyone later for dinner.
It was a lovely way to celebrate Marie's birthday. I know it was exactly the way she wanted it, with her family, active and happy. I always feel so lucky to be a part of that wonderful group.
