... started acting up, so I spent about 6hrs in some amount of pain. All's good now though. On our second day we made a day trip to the abandoned Greek town of karakoy. In the 1920s, Greece and turkey had a war, after which they each decided to expel the Turkish minority in Greece and Greek minority in Turkey to the other country. So karakoy's population left and the town hasn't been inhabited since, leaving 400 stone houses and several churches. It's ...

Fethiye, feti-where? Another big bus ride away was another town, I must say I'm not sure about the train system in turkey but the busses are bloody good! Another swim before afternoon tea and returning to the base to find that ...

Luckily Fethiye was happy to oblige.

Thursday came very quickly. We were both nervous. Sayings flew through our minds...Take the ...

... perfectly with their surroundings, as the ones we did see resembled tiny brown moths, more than colourful butterflies. The waterfall was pretty, and as we had our proper hiking shoes on, we were able to climb up higher than everyone else and gaze up into the mountains above and down into the finally quiet valley below. By the time we made our way back down to the beach, the boats had all gone and what was left were a few hippies (no disrespect intended) who were camping on ...
