... Christmas/New Year with in Austria joined me and we skied together for a few days before the first race.
Sunday - caught the train to Samedan and did the 17km Fraulenhof womens’ race. Snow was soft and sluggish and very hard going for me. When we got into Pontresina, Joel and Bart continued with the bus further into town to return our gear and pay for hiring it, while Brigitte and I sorted out dinner.

... went down the slopes a bit faster and even through some deep snow. Was harder for Joel as he had to keep unstrapping the bindings and move around. The slopes were too short for him.
We played and practiced on the slopes for about an hour and half before we stopped for lunch at the café. Brigitte had to leave to do errands and we walked with Eric home. We had a go with our parenting skills a bit, but got him home and to a party at 1pm on time.

After watching them for a few minutes I thought I would practice on the side but was coaxed into playing with them. It was easier balancing using the hockey stick occasionally and

We got home and Eric and Joel were already home. Joel went to go pick up Eric from school but he felt a bit dodgy pacing back and forth in front of the school so after 10 minutes decided to walk home and drop the sled at Bart’s work on the way. Eric was only 5 minutes behind Joel as he had stopped to have a snowball fight with his friends.
