Our hotel was brilliantly situated right opposite the entrance to the Travertines. What an incredible sight they are. The original pools that you, Sue and Tracey, swam in have been replaced by manmade pools. Dave donned his cozzi and had a little splash (the water is only ankle deep) At the top of the Travertines is the ancient city of Hieropolis which is still being excavated. Well well, we are moving on from the dreadful Marmaris leaving the English and loud music behind. We caught a bus to Fethiye about 3 hours further down the coast, the scenery was amazing pine covered mountains going down to the sea.
