Today we left after a very poor breakfast – this hotel was the least impressive so far! Except for the great hot spa! We drove south to a town called Aphrodisia – what another great surprise this place was. It is the only site that has only been discovered by Turkish excavators. Once again it was amazing to wonder through many ruins mainly in honour of the god Aprodsia – Goddess of Love. ...

... Swimming in the water was amazing as the temperature was perfect. After our 1st swim, I claimed a nice corner of the boat to sit for the day, read my book, sip some tea and watch the coast line. I wasn't a complete anti social, I did partake in some fun conversations out on deck, but I'm not a fan of too much sun, so I enjoyed being on my own for a bit. ... surface and opens his fat adorable little mouth for a 1 lira (50 cent) fish sold by an enterprising Turkish gentleman, who I’m almost certain catches them by occasionally dipping a net into the water and scooping out some of the many minnows swimming safely around the turtle too lazy to catch them himself.

    Well well, we are moving on from the dreadful Marmaris leaving the English and loud music behind. We caught a bus to Fethiye about 3 hours further down the coast, the scenery was amazing pine covered mountains going down to the sea.
