    ... We walked around the wall then back to the restaurants to have dinner. We chose a three course dinner for 24 Euro. About 9pm we went back to the wall, sat at a table, drank red merlot wine and watched the tide come in until midnight.     ... empty and we were out of Radlers and Riesling. The sat nav has been great for this, select grocery stores and away we went to LIDL. We also took back our empty plastic bottles for a 25 cents refund per bottle to an automatic reverse vending machine. This spits out a voucher that takes the money off your shop, a great idea and makes a bottle of beer only cost 17 British pence after pfand.

    Had a wonderful breakfast then caught the 9:12 train to Ulm with Otto with a Baden Wuettemberg Ticket (33 Euro for 3 people) Arrived in Ulm 10:44. We put our luggage in a locker at the railway station. We put in 1 Euro to lock it. You pay the rest when you return. It did not cost us any more. We walked to the Ulmer Munster ...

We also visited the Kings square, huge with a enormous palace / now government building, with a victory column and fountains.     On Sunday we decided to take an excursion to Heilbronn to visit their Bibliothek Flohmarkt—library book sale. I had seen this advertised during my stay in Heilbronn and it indicated that there would be over 5,000 books. We thought it would be interesting to attend such an event in Germany, since we had both attended similar ones in the U.S. and it would give Brenda and opportunity to see some new scenery and a different town.
