Our pantry is a single cupboard, with extra space found by putting things above the cupboards.
Our bed is very strange. It's sort of two beds, joined together. Because both of the beds have sides, we have this big gap between us without any mattress. We keep on rolling over in the middle of the night and falling down the gap.
This is a view from the balcony, looking down into the courtyard. The man holding a sword is actually a huge statue.
There is a chapel inside. We couldn't go into the lower level, but we could stand up on a balcony and look into it. The pulpit is nearly two stories above where the congregation sits!

It looks pretty big, but there are five different flats inside. We have one down the bottom, with a lounge room and a very small kitchen.

... phenomenon occurs when the suns rays are instantly halted at the beginning of these thick, dark woods. There is an eeriness looking into the black depths of the forest, any trace of light lost at the tree line. They are not exceptionally tall trees, but they are so densely populated together that light can't fight its way through the canopy and a pitch black effect occurs. It was a beautiful drive through the countryside and forest.
