... We braved 4 towers before turning back, which took about an 45 minutes. There were some very steep parts of the wall and there are no steps. Some of the tourist went to 8 towers, but they were late coming back to the meeting place. After the right side, we decided to go the left direction. During the 2008 Olympics, Chinese authorities made a massive effort to clean up the pollution that plagued the skylines here, but sadly, those efforts did not continue and it is just as bad now as ever before.
