Politics, handbags, heating & bottoms.....
Hi all,
A little extra mid week blog for you...... thank you for the comments on the last one, nice to know people are still reading!
So, after Obama's victory yesterday, China begins it's week long Communist Party National Congress, and the city is on lockdown for this once in a decade change in power, with a new set of leaders being unveiled security is very tight, with reports of many dissidents detained or under house arrest (around 130). The Great Wall of China at Jinshanling
... reviews and our driver recommended. It lived up to the hype, even if the service was a little slow to start. It was an incredible day for both of us, and I must say after traveling to some pretty cool places around the world, The Great Wall might be the most amazing structure I've seen. Good Fortune
... pretty bad. It hangs low to the ground and obscures the view between buildings and on the roadways. It's filmy. I can feel it on my teeth and taste it in my mouth.
So far, ...
