    ... got back around 2. For lunch, we walked to a food stand on campus that sells these things called Taiwan pancakes. I had not tried one yet, but everyone said they were amazing. It is basically like a flour like crepe that they fill with whatever kind of meat you want, lettuce, and whatever dressing you want. I got a seasoned chicken and they didn't have many choices for dressings so I picked mayo. It was super delicious, and only 7 yuan, so just over a dollar. After ...

    ... gathered some others, Adrian, Ben, and Ista, and we visited (the outside of) the Olympic stadiums. We didn’t get to close – actually, the better photos are taken from afar anyhow. We arrived about 20 minutes before closing, so we didn’t have to pay the entrance fee. Apparently, the pool has now been transformed into a water park! What a waste!

    (PS-if any parents would like to touch base the next phone call home on the IMPORTANCE of staying IN our hotel rooms while we are supposed to be sleeping, I really wouldn't mind. Sigh.)
