... the hotel - but some of us wanted to check out the shops in a nearby town . . . So we headed off once more! Back to Laurie's pink pants store! Jojo loved these pants and decided she needed a pair for herself! Watch out for the photos! :-)
Cyndy, Dave, and Colette also found some bargains .. Now - we have an hour until happy hour. Yikes! Have yet to shower or even glance at my pictures . . . Oh well . . .

... of the scenery - our fellow hikers - the sheep grazing on the sides of the mountains - even the lone Shepard who was tending these sheep! Finally reached the lake and the refuge around noon. A fire in the wood stove and wonderful goulash soup! It's pretty German in this area of Italy.

pleasant driving. This is a main north-south arterial route.
Stopped at Camping Corones. Luxurious site, with heated
sanitary facilities and a heated outdoor pool, but somehow we did not like it.
Full of Germans and very “ordered” parking.
