... the university campus (which isn’t really a campus; it has buildings throughout the city), the university botanical garden, going through Barefoot Plaza (Barfüsselplatz), and going to the Kunstmuseum. I enjoyed the Kunstmuseum, which featured sculptures and art from 1300s-1960s, and was exciting enough to hold my interest for a whole hour and a half. My first white Christmas

One thing I really like about Europe is all the fountains that you can drink from. Switzerlands water is amazingly fresh and really cold, so it's so good. I really wish we had something like that in New Zealand, but people do silly things with fountains, they would probably ruin it

From our bedroom window we can see a little chapel on the top of a hill. One afternoon we decided to hike up and check it out. It was a gorgeous day - full of sunshine and the feeling of spring in the air. The chapel's exterior was covered in detailed sculptures. It seemed like it was still in use because the door was open and candles were lit inside. The girls enjoyed exploring around the chapel and we were able to look down the steep cliffs to the town below ...
