    Last Day in America!

    It has finally come, my last day of Trek and my last full day in America. After buying a new suitcase at Walmart, we all headed off to LA, taking us through many hours of desert. We arrived late afternoon and while most of my Trek was staying at the hotel we finished at, I had to be driven to my hostel for the night.

    ... a lot of the glam away. We stopped for some hot dogs and walked into the crowds outside the Chinese theatre which we couldn't get near.     Michael "enjoyed" the experience of peak hour traffic and now feels that he is a pro in LA traffic.. It was interesting to see the newer development of a suburban shopping mall built on the more a traditional pedestrian friendly town square but in the confines of a secure shopping precinct. We found a large Barnes and Noble book shop to do a bit of browsing.
