In the seven years since we arrived here in Austria we have not had a summer holiday. Running a busy biker hotel leaves little time for anything else. Not that we are complaining, It's been a lot of fun in itself. We have had holidays of course but only in our off season. 2015 is a year of big changes for us, with this being our last season here. ... also adds to the cool and refreshing feeling. I've found it really relaxing to rest here for a couple days and take in the scenery and feel of this country. We will be heading to Italy tomorrow, starting with Venice, which I absolutely cannot wait for!
A few things that I have noticed are different about Europe and have been quite consistent across the different countries we've been to so far-
... pretzels there and I also made a point to order a sausage before we left Germany.
Today, we spent some more time in Munich at BMW Welt (BMW World). There were tons of fancy cars there and we got to see some pretty cool stuff at the BMW Museum across the street from BMW Welt. Corey seemed to really enjoy it there and I also found it quite interesting.

Shhh we are in Austria. The loudest noise is the cuckoo birds (that don't go on the hour by the way). Austrians are so well behaved and well mannered. The drivers are considerate, stop for pedestrians, never speed, pull over if there is not enough room. Unlike the Italian where it is a competition for who has the biggest vehicle or balls! Every square cm is so organized, even men, the men wearing their leather pants and funny little hats are immaculate.
Just when you think it can’t get any better than Germany, over the mountains (and through lots of tunnels) lies the gorgeous valley of Seeboden in Southern Austria. The landscape here reminds me of Switzerland, and our little spot looks out over green meadows, a lake, lush forests and snow topped mountains. Pretty and relaxing, but a bit cold. We stayed here last year, and our sweet landlady was as happy to see us as we were to see her. ...
