      ... been shot by an irate villager, what actually happened however was the elasticated rope holding my rucksack on the back of the bike had sprung loose and gave me a good whipping which I was very relieved about when I worked it out!       ... off but people kept getting on. After we were up to about 30 people we thought that they would surely tell people the bus was full. Of course not. The next person climbed on and sat in the drivers lap. We bounced down the pot-holed road in the pouring rain, the people on the back seat ducking to avoid the luggage as it shot forward every time we braked.       ... about 8 feet tall and Leo attached one end to the back of his back and drove the 8KM back to the longhouse dragging the bamboo stick. Once back at the house, Toan made an awesome fire and cooked the sticky rice in the bamboo stick and also used the bamboo stick to cook our beef. He and Leo ate pork. It was really neat to watch him create the fire from scratch and use the elements to cook an awesome meal.

      ... was attracted to me so I was downing rice whiskey like it was water. This stuff is like 40%! I was gagging for food by this point and then it came! The food came out and seemed like it just didn't stop coming, 3 meat dishes, spring rolls, salads, rice, fruit and soup! All for 60,000 dong! By the end of the night I was the only one staggering and luckily for me our place was just across the road.
