... nous nous retrouvons finalement dans le train. Nous avions le choix entre fauteuil dur, fauteuil moelleux, couchette dure ou couchette moelleuse. Comme le voyage durera toute la nuit (21 h – 5 h) nous choisissons les couchettes moelleuses. Nous partageons un compartiment à quatre avec deux Australiennes, une dame et sa fille. 5th December

Today was spent travelling the 3 hour bus journey out to Halong Bay from Hanoi. ... Shosho showed us her house which was nice of her. T\was real interesting to see how they live. Turns out they are shamans up this way. Not sure what that involves but it sounds pretty badass.
