    ... haha). Anyway, the week is starting to wind down and we are finishing up with the last of our cultural excursions and activities. Today my group had a lesson in  Muay Thai! It was no joke. I am not exaggerating when I say that I was LITERALLY dripping half way through. Best work out that I've ever had, hands down. And the most fun as well.     ... too. We have to sign in and out at the Thai airforce base called Wings 5 and cross over the runway to eventually access the beach promenade of Ao Manao.

    *So if you find yourself working your way down the east coast of Thailand there are worse places to stop over than little Prachuap Khiri Khan. Our hotel is called the Sun Beach Guest House. Sunset and sunrise are both divine times of the day here. Keep this place a secret!

    walked home late, got lost... only **** thing about this town - dogs take over at night! - it might as well be a civil war outside.. any corner you turn a rabid dog could come flying out at you...
    had to turn back and re trace by steps after dogs backing me down at each turn..
    felt pretty defeated... - what a hard core experienced traveler!

    ... beautiful antique wooden furniture with windows everywhere. It sits beside a small canal that was apparently dug in the 1800's. We were presented with a cool, home made lemongrass tea while staff took our luggage to the room. The room is up a set of several stairs before continuing up a narrow steel circular staircase to a loft room. Two of the four sides of the room are ceiling to floor and wall to wall windows.
