On the lighter side...Dasha came to town! Dasha with her French husband, Stephan. This is a joy to see her and to fellowship and laugh and share with her again! She is doing great!

... I had simply wondered how I might go to that area after Barcelona.
Within a couple of days a Spanish family contacted me through the site
Workaway.com. They need me to take their girls to the beach for 3 hours in the
mornings and speak English to them. In return
I will have room and board and ample free time to explore the magical places
nearby: Cadiz, Tarifa, Tangier, Granada, Cordoba, Jerez and Seville. Perfect!
I am not planning on exiting early. It just gives me more freedom to end
this chapter, really intentionally attend to all matters, from labeling my
spices (who is the lucky cook to get them?) to declaring end of life interests.
I am having to expand my heart every day as the natural
grief of leaving my beloveds rolls through, and as the jump for joy excitement
builds every day ...
... marriage, childbirth, etc.
Another thought which calms the all or nothing life or death
feelings is that perhaps I cannot yet imagine what will bring me satisfaction,
even as soon as next year. I certainly wouldn’t
have predicted the extent at least, of my current decision and circumstances.
Maybe it is about more than America vs. Europe. Which leaves me to trust the
process, including this step of moving and going into the unknown. I’ve ...
