Met Mike twice while I was out.

Time for a quick shower and then readied for 1830 rendezvous for dinner. Chatted with Simona about local liqueurs. Mead is the one ...

The Ninth Fort of Kaunas

... top too, even going inside an observation tower. A large monument has been erected in the site of mass graves. We headed back for the bus, stopping for an ice cream as we had 20 minutes before it was due. An unnumbered bus appeared right on time but after the locals decided not to get on, we followed suit and sat waiting, assuming it was running slightly late. No bus appeared however and when the next scheduled one arrived, still numberless but right ...
