We had paid 250 Durham EACH for the camel ride, and they still begged us for more - not only that, but they led us in to their family's market where we were obligated to buy from them. Now enough of the sappy, bleeding heart stories. I have a couple of awesome anecdotes for all of you reading which involved me getting lost (of course) and being washed.
Let's start with my personal hammam (bath): I have two maids who speak Moroccan Arabic and a wee bit of French. Obviously the French doesn't help me because I never bothered to learn (subconsciously as a middle finger to the snobby French people) and ...
... as simple as tea glasses that I just can't ever make up my mind. Part of the problem is that you really can't slow down while you're walking through or you'll get hit in the back by an impatient shopper or pulled into a stall by an overzealous shopkeeper. I'm also always scared I'm going to get lost. It's nice to have Joel there because he has a good sense of direction and is so tall that he's pretty impossible to miss in a crowd.

... doing a model photo shoot or something, because I ended up taking like 10 pictures. Some of them were with his shirt unbuttoned, some of them sitting with like his leg up. It was completely nuts and I was laughing the entire time. This guy had a straight face the entire time, I am not sure what he was thinking.
