It's been a few years since I was on the islands last. Well alot has changed. The service in some of the places has just gone to ****. Because some of the places are so small like Koh Tao and Railay beach, the locals know you have no choice and have adopted an I don't care attitude. It's horrible. Everything is filthy and I see alot of locals lying around so lazy. Just disappointing. And frustrating in the lack of any decent service. The Vibe is even bad. Bad Kung ...

... cheap accommodation and found nice little bungalows where we booked in for five nights.

We love the laid back social vibe of Phi Phi, everyone is there to had a good time. We went to the beach everyday and were lucky with the weather except for rain one day. We decided against doing the boat trip again as we had seen it all last year but did return to Viewpoint.

At night we joined in ...

Day 141

Up at an ungodly hour again (4:45) as we were getting picked up at 5 on another minivan with air con that will freeze water. The van itself was quite luxurious but had been internally decorated by NASA. We drove for about 2 hours until we hit the Malaysian Border where we checked out of Malaysia ans into Thailand - pretty uneventful (in fact they didn't even check our bags!) We had heard about political trouble in the south of Thailand but they must've ...
