... may need to make several visits to him to find out all about the elephants but hopefully that will happen on the Tuesday. After all our negotiations we come back to our room and change into our bathers. It's still raining but not cold. We have a wander around and choose two chairs in the water facing the beach. We are so lucky to be here. We've checked out the price of drinks and wine is off the menu at $40.00 a bottle and we decide on beer at $3.50 a bottle. We enjoy a ...

... huts. It was nice to get back to the room and get dry. Our favourite restaurant was full that night but we bumped uni the rest of our group and went for dinner with them. We had some grub and went back early to pack as we have to be up and out at 6am tomorrow morning. Last night in Thailand! Onwards and down to ...

Sights: blow your mind cliffs & beaches, trash Sounds: it's all about that bass Smells: sewage Tastes: meat on a stick, green curry Feels: grimy, thai massage (how will we ever live without them?) Koh Phi Phi, it's stunning. Unbelievably gorgeous. And keep in mind it was rocked by a tsunami in 2004. So beautiful The Beach (movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio, 1999) was filmed on one of the islands, Koh Phi Phi Leh. You cannot sleep on that ...

... s. The water is indescribable! Boat anchors up, music is on, and we get to do some snorkelling in this gem of a place whilst our driver sparks up his bong! Tropical fish everywhere, and plenty of opportunity to use the GoPro and my diving attachment. If you go travelling, buy a GoPro! The best investment I've made since buying my first Civic Type R. Next stop, bamboo island. Huge beach so we get work on trying to perfect the art of the frisby. Not quite ready for the ...
