On our return we have a beer in the restaurant and chat with David, Glen, Drew and Jodie....whilst enjoying quite a few mor beers!

in the evening we have a great meal at Banana Bar, which is just next door.

This journey was much longer and more painful than we all thought. 6.30am: checked out of hotel 1hr taxi to the airport (where Stu realised he hadn't booked the flight!) 1hr flight 2hr transfer to the ferry port 2.5hr wait as the ferry was delayed 3hr ferry journey, which was only meant to be 2, and was in the most choppy conditions, was making everyone on board feel bad. Getting across was relatively easy if a bit tedious and we arrived in Koh Phangan on ...

... sunset beach, whereby the path disappears and we get lost and close to death in the jungle. We find a high lookout, before panic sets in and Sarah tries to roll down the hill. Go round in circles for literally 45 minutes in the hottest sun, freaking out, tiring out, before a friendly frenchman shouts from his porch (probably sick of hearing our screams) that the path was about 2 metres from where we stood. Follow the path, flipping easy, and before we know it we ...
