      Full moon party!!!

      We had heard so much about these infamous koh phagnan's full moon parties. They happen once a month on the full moon and people come from all over to partake in the party. Originally our plan was to avoid the madness by staying on koh samui, but we found a convenient way to get to the party which would have left us foolish for not going. For 1000B (~35$), a shuttle would pick us up at the hotel and take us to the pier at the time we chose, and we got a two way ticket ...

      ... etc, Sam and I had an omlette which was lovely! A bit annoying really, we stayed at the diving end of town, the other end is where all the bars/ restaurants are and a lot more going on, course we wernt to know this, it's connected by one road, about a 10 min drive and an hour walk. We hired a scooter again and rode it into town, we met back up with Kirsty which was lovely, she has just done her dive course here ...

      ... the hotel we walked out onto the main street and found an English bar with a pool competition so we sat in there and had a drink and watched.

      Around 11.30pm we took a taxi to the half moon party. It cost us 100 baht, 2, each to get there.

      ... the same thing! Overall we got about 2 hours of terrible sleep.
      We got up early the next morning and both immediately decided we cant stay another night in the dorm so we checked out and paid for one night. We viewed a few cheap and nasty places bedore we found a nice place which was reasonable and had air con! It was also a minutes walk from the beach. We had a quick breakfast and went back to Asia divers to meet James our scuba instructor. He was such a nice funny guy right ...
