      ... swimming" . We all jumped in to warm ,warm , thick salty water. At this point it had started to rain just a little bit , the rain on our faces was perfect!

      ... was gone. Not that we slept after that.

      Ko Lanta is rural Thailand at its finest - rice fields, outstanding mountaintop viewpoints, zero shops but plenty of roadside stalls offering fruit and veg grown in the trader's back yards. Tres authentic!

      EAT & DRINK: Ko Lanta is far from tourist-central, so late night bars and choice of restaurants are few and far between. However, the diamonds in the ruff that do exist tend to host either ...

      ... the bungalows which turned out to be a lie but it was pretty good around reception and the pool so decided that would do! The resort was like a proper holiday you'd come to for 2 weeks. It had a lovely pool, bar, restaurant, warm showers, a tv, all the standard things a hotel has just not when you're travelling! It was so clean and modern we felt spoilt!       We woke up and took a ferry from Phuket to the Phi Phi Islands. This island was really small and people primarily got around by walking or by a standard bicycle.       ... we decided to spend a bit more money on a hotel again so we stayed in a fantastic 5 star resort right on the beach, it was absolutely amazing and it was empty! We saw about 6 other guests in total and had the pool and beach to ourselves the whole time pretty much.
