... my last day on the island was lovely. I went back to Perfect Dough again.... and had breakfast (best fried eggs in ages and they use real butter on their toast - bonus). Then I spent the whole day under an umbrella reading my book then going for a swim when I was too hot and only coming out when I'd cooled down. Bliss.

In-between the procession of beach sellers I managed to fit in fresh fruit (and my last banana roti) drinks were supplied by Perfect Dough. Then as ...

We arrived in Krabi and things went far too swimmingly - a nice little Thai woman made us a packed lunch of a cheese sandwich, banana and water for the bus for 1! ... just a pan and bucket of water which isn't too fun on a hangover and funny tummy.
However we enjoy swimming in the sea and look forward to going out to watch the match later in the evening.

The clientele of the place has changed now its the weekend and Koh Samet is packed with groups of trendy young Thai's and the bars are much more lively.
We watch a boxing match in Naga, a bar with really loud, abrasive music and meet a couple to watch the ...

... I was wondering what decade she got those from. Anyway, it was entertaining and the night ended uneventfully. I eventually headed back and Mikael called out a friendly "good night" to me through the bamboo wall between our rooms.

Sunday was more of the same... an even more brightly shining sun, warm fine white sand and an amazingly calm and turquoise ocean. I camped out on my rented deck chair next to Mikael, ate some tam tuwa (green bean salad) ...
