My flight from Chiang Mai to Ko Samui was the most scary flight I have ever taken with a lot of turbulence and bouncing down the runway but some how I managed to land safely and meet Danny who had flown down from Bangkok. Hello, I have had to travel to Koh Samui to visit the immigration office to extend my visa until Hayley returns. This island is a mini version of Bangkok with all of the Indian tailors pushing the hard sell and taxi drivers nearly forcing you into there cab. We arrived by ferry yesterday. Sad to leave our comfortable setting on Ko Tao, but excited to see another island in the gulf of Thailand. It appears we are here until we fly out of Bangkok, next Wednesday. Today has been filled with being measured up for custom suits, coconut oil massages, and of course....basking in the sun. Well unfortunately for me not much sleep.....not sure why but no luck. Morning came early and it was really raining out...we managed to stuff our stuff into the bags and off we went our driver was waiting....now probs. Weather wise it is raining big time...but no worries as its a travel day anyways....kinda sucks cause we don't get to Samui till like 4:00....its now 8:00...off to Bangkok and then a 4 hr lay over till the next flight to Samui. The Samui airport is entirely outdoors except for the beautiful bathrooms, each with a huge fish tank full of colorful fish. Our resort where we'd stay for just a couple nights was awesome.
