Got up late enough and went to McDonald's. In fairness to McDonald's it's a banker. You know what your getting when you go there. I was dying for a Starbucks coffee and an ice cream so we headed off in search of both. The combination of ice cream and coffee makes me weak at the knees. I ******* love the two of them. ... back to Playa Del Carmen, I slept almost the whole bus trip! I went out for dinner at the La Cueva del Chango in Del Carmen which is a nice Mexican restaurant, it was absolutely scrumptious, fantastic Mexican flavours throughout every dish, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get a taste of native Mexican flavours, way better then any Mexican I've ever had! We then went back to our hotel room to get some sleep

... fact that we tidy every morning before breakfast means there is nothing to do and that, perhaps, the towel animal is the well earned cherry on the cake after an hours hard graft? Perhaps if we stop flushing the toilet and leave our dirty clothes on the floor then we will open the door to a Noah's Ark spilling out across the room? Or not. We were being hounded by a countless number of vendors selling tshirts and novelty souvenirs that, when blown like a mouth organ they growled like a panther, so we quickly escaped. Our next location was one of Mexico's many natural sink holes that were once volcano craters, and since extinction had filled with water.
