In order to get from Cozumel Island to Playa del Carmen we had to take a speed boat (MXN 163 per person) that dropped us off at the jetty, only a few meters away from Quinta Avenida in Playa del Carmen 30 minutes later. If I need anything else I'm almost as good as Thamsanqa Jantjie with out the schizophrenia. Besides the language barrier and adjustment to the scorching humidity (so expect bad hair all week) Riviera Maya is beautiful. And the resort is ...

... sink hole with fresh water and several hundreds of tourists trying to immerse their sweaty bodies!! Good opportunity to take a cool beer.
Day 2 - a quiet day in Playa to secure an additional bag to accommodate all the additional bits and pieces collected en route over the last 6 weeks. We will still have the same weight but at least we will be able to pick up the bags.
Day 3 - our final trip to Mayan ruins took in two sites, and another cenote, with clean green ...
