Excellent hotel, didn't expect such a good standard from Best Western if I'm honest, but it is a Plus type; breakfast was good, rooms lovely, beds comfy, staff friendly, and the wireless internet was excellent. Laundry was available downstairs too, $9 for a load including washing, drying, and detergent.

... thank us for choosing Swiss air. I'll choose Swiss air any time I can i'll tell you that much! :) My 23 hour journey was over. I was in India alright. Ganesh, hand mudras and the sweet smell of incense. I had arrived. :) My hosts Vijay and Rajan arrived at the airport to pick me up shortly thereafter and we were off. I was going to live like the locals for the next week. We arrived at Vijay's flat and shared a few cocktails on his rooftop while getting to know each ...

... person in sight had an open bottle if something rolling down the streets. We arrived to a bar strip in what seemed to be a fairly old area of the city, the strip was on a steep incline... Probably not the best location for drunk people.. And was packed with a bunch of tiny little bars. You can actually bring your own beer into hose bars or beer from somewhere else... Apparently it's frowned upon but totally legit! The 15 of us would pretty much fill each "bar". Goood ...

... the road more.. We got to talk to a nice guy and he gave us lots of ideas on what we should defiantly do while we were here. We decided to sign our selves up for the free guided tour into the parliament building but had to wait until 3.20pm. As we had 3 hours to spare we decided to walk around the downtown and Parliament Hill area. We really enjoyed looking at all the old buildings. And Ryan particularly liked the Rideau Canal and how boats get up and down from the river to ...
