Excellent hotel, didn't expect such a good standard from Best Western if I'm honest, but it is a Plus type; breakfast was good, rooms lovely, beds comfy, staff friendly, and the wireless internet was excellent. Laundry was available downstairs too, $9 for a load including washing, drying, and detergent.

The day had turned out quite warm and the bus on the way back was chockers, standing room only - was glad to get out. So glad am I that I made the stop off in Hong Kong. If not only to aid with the jet lag that travelling to Australia would deliver me but to experience this awesome country! Granted it was only a whistle stop tour but still, it was certainly an experience. We arrived to 85% humidity, having had no sleep and no hotel room for 6 hours. Needless to say we were a ...

We of course were the lucky ones and had the latest plane, so had to sit around for 4 hrs till 2.15pm. By the time we got on board we really didn't like each other. The plane eventually got in at 9.30pm the watches had to be put forward 3hrs plus a 4hr flight. Then an hour to get luggage, we had a Lincoln limo take us to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, arrived 11.30 stuffed, ...

We decided to sign our selves up for the free guided tour into the parliament building but had to wait until 3.20pm. As we had 3 hours to spare we decided to walk around the downtown and Parliament Hill area. We really enjoyed looking at all the old buildings. And Ryan particularly liked the Rideau Canal and how boats get up and down from the river to ...
