We arrived in Plerguer after about a 4 hour drive. It took for ever. When we arrived we found
our unit easy.
We went to Mont St Michel. It is a church, a couple of shops and houses on a massive rock.

Today we went to old castle walls at St Malo and walked all the way around.
We passed a prison in the water.
But when it was low tide you could walk across to it.
here was a lot of big rocks to be climbed all over.
We climbed the most biggest and furthest away rock.

We chose Plerguer as a base to explore towns at the top of France.
Mont St Michel was one of the must sees.
As we drove up it was a magnificant sight, rising out of the sea.
We parked in the new car park 3km away as the old one flooded too much with the rising tides. Caught the shuttle over and wandered around this amazing rocky island.

... steadily all afternoon so we retreated to our hotel room and were pleased not to have to venture out again except to retrieve our bikes from their position locked to a bike rack. This hotel did not provide any garaging for bikes so with the rain so heavy we rescued our babies and they bunked in with us for the night. In an already small room strewn with wet shoes and coats hung out to dry, this made for a rather cosy arrangement.
