This morning we were up and out at 6:30am on our way to the town of Tours in the Loire Valley. We caught a TGV high speed train at Gare Montpanasse after buying tickets at the English speaking billet section. Our plan was to visit some of the many chateaux built in the 16th century. Pour emballer les zones sensibles, papier bulle et scotch à gogo sur toutes les parties exposées au chocs ou fragiles. Freins (poignées et patins avant), rétroviseur, les tiges de roues qui dépassent et pourraient trouer la housse... Enfin, petite astuce qu'on a trouvé sympa, c'est de mettre de la mousse (celle qui recouvre et isole les tuyaux normalement) qui est assez compacte sur quelques parties sensibles : le plateau, sur lequel repose ...

... quelques contacts établis sur place (merci Benoît!), quelques cours de bricolage des vélos pour ne pas être incapables de régler une selle sur place (merci Charlie!) et les derniers préparatifs du voyage...

Tout est là, les affaires sont regroupées, le plus gros du travail est fait mais il nous reste le plus dur : répartir les bagages... Ba oui, il faut réfléchir et ça... c'est pas toujours facile!!!
