After class on Monday, I got ice cream with some friends after class at the Place Plumereau (Plaas Plume-air-o). They had some amazing choices, but I had to stick with salted caramel.

Kenner picked fresh strawberries with her family for their dessert. They ate a sort of mozzarella and basil wrap followed by a beef stew served over rice.
Cason and her host family visited McCrae's host family in Vouvray at their home, which is also a beautiful B&B. They both said that about 7 languages and countries were represented at the table! ... ran back to meet me at my cafe to try and beat the others. It was a close one, but the sophomore team won. Felicitations, Alida, Taylor, Lizzie and McCrae! They received a rainbow assortment of artisinal macaroons by a local patisseur, Patrick M. Merveilleux!
