Took a taxi into the City of Tours to get our mini-bus tour of the chateaux. The latter spent his last 4 years there and died in 1519. ...

... all.) 2. Along those same food lines, our students were amazed at how small the portions were in both restaurants and at their host family home. And yet the French seem to eat a lot, just served up in several small courses. And they seem to eat for such a long time! The ingredients were high quality, and the tastes and colors were bright. The presentation of the food at the table seemed almost as important as the preparation in the kitchen. ...
